Support MISD Orchestras
Mercer Island Orchestra Boosters is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation created to bridge the gap between the orchestra program the district can fund and the program our kids deserve. All activities outside the directors’ classroom instruction are funded by parents like you.
Generous donors, sponsors, and grants provide:
- significant additional classroom instruction
- enrichment activities such as artist in residence and special performance guests
- performance tour assistance
- leadership opportunities
- professional development for our directors
- activities that create a community for our kids inside and outside the classroom
So how can you help? Please strongly consider a minimum contribution of $225 for each student you have in the program.

Your legacy funds go toward expanding our vision of enrichment instruction and meaningful musical and social experiences for our current students and future young musicians at MISD.
